A circuit is a complete path electricity can follow. What happens if we break that path on purpose — and then put it back together?
The goal
Understand a circuit by interrupting it on purpose, so “on” and “off” stop being magic.
How we'll do it
- 01Build the simplest circuit that lights something up.
- 02Add a switch and feel what “open” and “closed” really mean.
- 03Introduce breaks on purpose — a loose wire, a bad join — and hunt them down.
- 04Fix it, then break it a different way and fix it again.
